INGREDIENTS
1 - 2 Medjool Dates
1/4 CUP Hot water to soak
2/3 CUP Nut milk (hemp, almond, pepita, coconut)
1/2 TSP Turmeric powder
Pinch Cinnamon, Ginger, Cardamom powder
Pinch Salt + bBlack pepper
1 TSP Ghee
1 TSP Chia (optional)
1 TBS Nut Butter or Seed Butter (optional)
1 TBS Coconut Cream (optional)
METHOD
Soak dates in warm water for about 5 minutes
Blend all ingredients together. If using chia or nut butter, add it in then as well.
Pour into pot, and bring to a gentle simmer for a minute or so
Turn off and let cool for a minute or so. Then add in ghee
Serve and top with a sprinkle cinnamon and optional coconut cream.
