Mother's Snack: Avocado (version 1)
There are really more than 2 versions of this. Let's be real here - we are starting with one of the most delicious nutrient powerhouses - the avocado! Plus how simple can you get just taking a fork and mashing it up? This first version is with slowly and lowly cooked mix of Ayurvedic herbs and spices. You can use the recipes to guide and jump off.
This snack is also sprinkled in lime zest, pink salt and an intentional blend of spices, seeds and herbies. One component is pippali, or the long pepper.
Pippali solo is a beast in the restorative and warming department.
🌶
It's a bit pungent and is often partnered with ginger and black pepper to make trikatu, a popular digestive, warming and protective remedy historically served to postpartum persons

Ingredient
1 Avocado, mashed
1 Lime
1 Clover Garlic
1 Ghee
1 Pippali (you might try white pepper)
Mustard Seed (yellow)
Method:
Crush and peel 1 large garlic clove, mince. Wait 10 minutes for the Allicin in the garlic to stabilize
In a low medium cast iron pan (or any small stainless pan), melt ghee
Add garlic (you waited 10 minutes, yeah?),
